BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT TEAM

Who are we?

Management and Staffing

The Team is managed centrally by the Service Devlopment Manager for Vulnerable Children and the Operational Manager - Behaviour Support. The county managerial base is located in Worcester. The Team operates its behaviour support and its Key Stage 1 /2 and Key Stage 3 PRUs and Key Stage 4 PRUs  in three broad areas of the county. The administrative bases for these are housed in Worcester (South), in Kidderminster (North West), and in Redditch (North East). These are managed on an area basis through a co-ordinator.

Staffing comprises of teachers, teaching assistants, transport assistants and administrative assistants working in a range of settings. Many work in PRUs and mainstream schools, some work only in schools, and a number are engaged in supporting Education Provision outside of the main stream setting. Children Jumping
