Citizens Panel Festive Event December 9th 2003

This year we held the second annual Citizens' Panel Festive Event. Over 300 panel members. wished to come to the evening event, held at County Halll, Worcester. Space restrictions limited us to 50 panel members and attendees were selected in terms of key demographics, including age and where they live.

Rob Sykes, Chief Executive of the County Council, Councillors and Chief Officers also attended the event and chatted to panel members over buffet. The evening programme of Electronic Voting (similar to the audience in 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire') and open discussion forum was kindly compered by BBC Hereford & Worcester star Nathan Turvey. Chief officers held their own focus groups talking about the current issues concerning Corporate Services, Financial Services, Education Services, Environmental Services and Social Services.
