Worcestershire Environmental Archaeology Team

Worcestershire Historic Environment and Archaeology Service provides specialist environmental services for the county and beyond.  These include pollen analysis housed in newly equipped laboratories. Staff have a wide experience of different types of challenging sites and sediments, including alluvial, urban, buried soils, contaminated sites, wetland and marine.  As well as providing a  range of direct services, the team can, if appropriate, also provide a project managemnent role in co-ordinating the work of a wider range of specialists.

Worcestershire is one of the few counties in England able to provide this range of  services and is currently engaged in projects throughout the Midlands and South-West of England..
