Information

If you are concerned about the deterioration of your sight or hearing, visit your doctor, who may advise a visit to your optician, local hospital or audiologist.

If you have suffered sudden sight loss, visual disturbance, distortion or injury to the eye, or if you start bleeding from your ear or have acute, severe earache, go to the Accident and Emergency unit of your local hospital.

If you need to talk about any worries or concerns you may have, or would like to have access to services, special equipment or support, contact:

  • Worcestershire Adult and Community Services Sensory Impairment Team
  • Worcestershire Association for the Blind
  • Your Doctor’s Surgery
  • Local or national telephone helplines
  • Deaf Direct.
