Climate Change Strategy Consultation

The objectives of the draft strategy are based on issues identified by participants at the Worcestershire Partnership climate change seminar and subsequent workshops held at the Worcestershire Assembly.  The draft strategy was presented to the Worcestershire Partnership Board on 20th January for comment.

No final decisions have been made about the strategy and views on proposals are welcomed.  Active support and endorsement of the strategy is needed and we will all need help to deliver it.

The Worcestershire Climate Change Group would welcome any comments and suggestions you may have on the draft strategy.

In particular we would be grateful if you would

· Consider and comment upon the objectives of the Draft Strategy

· Consider, comment upon and respond to the Climate Change Pledge (Appendix 1)

· Provide examples of action taken by you or your organisation on tackling Climate Change that may be used as case studies to help promote further action in the County

The group is aiming to produce a detailed action plan by the end of 2005.
