The impacts of climate change are already being felt throughout Worcestershire's economy, environment and society. Predicted further changes include: more frequent very hot summers, less frequent very cold winters, lower summer rainfall, higher winter rainfall, more frquent extreme weather events like storms and floods. Climate change may impact upon Worcestershire organisations in different ways, e.g.building damage due to flooding, storms or subsidence and increased associated insurance costs. Carrying out an assessment of these impacts enables organisations to put necessary adaptation measures in place.
