Worcester Library and History Centre PFI project held a Bidders Open Day on the 17th of January 2007 at the Sixways Conference Centre in Worcester.
This proved to be a highly successful event generating almost unprecedented levels of interest in what will be a landmark project.
This is evidenced by an attendance of over 90 interested delegates representing many of the major players from the private sector. The Department for Culture, Media and Sport was also represented by Cathy Page, Head of Evidence and Communication (Regional and Local Local Government Unit).

Following this there was an informative question and answer session where delegates raised issues for clarification.
The feedback from delegates clearly indicated a consensus that the event provided all relevant information, was efficiently organised at an attractive venue. They also appreciated the opportunity to network informally and ask questions.
