To: 12 February 2009		 Charles Darwin Bicentenary 2009 - The bicentenary of Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of ‘On the origin of Species’. "Annie" Darwin was the eldest daughter of Charles and Emma Darwin. Anne caught scarlet fever and was taken to Malvern for the water cure. She died in Montreal House, and is buried in the Priory churchyard.
