Hardship

Businesses may be entitled to a reduction from rates if they are suffering hardship.

The Council may consider a reduction of part or the whole of a Business Rate charge on "Hardship" Grounds, but only in exceptional circumstances.

Applications are considered by the Council's Executive Committee. Businesses are required to submit their latest audited accounts and a business plan in support of their application.
