A 'listed' building is a building which has been included in a statutory list of buildings of Special Architecture or Historic Interest prepared by the Department of Culture, Media & Sport following the recommendation of Inspectors from English Heritage. Requests to list a building or structure should be made to the Heritage Protection Team of English Heritage.as this is not a function of the District Council There are more than 1850 listed buildings within the Malvern Hills District which include churches, farm buildings and cottages to bridges, milestones telephone kiosks and gates.
