Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Training
- It is acknowledged, by both enforcement authorities and industry, that one of the most effective ways of controlling the incidence of food poisoning and accidents/injuries at work, is by training/educating the workforce in these matters.
- This view is endorsed by both the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995 and Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and associated codes of practice/guidance.
- We are able to offer a variety of courses which are either tailor made or set by institutions such as the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Officers (CIEH) or Royal Society for the Promotion of Health (RSPH). These courses are designed to ensure that staff of local businesses are adequately trained. Over the last few years, many employees have successfully passed these courses, improving their food health & safety awareness and generating valuable income for the authority
