2008 Concessionary Travel Scheme
When the new England-wide scheme starts on 1st April 2008 some pass holders and
new applicants will be issued with a Temporary Pass. This is due to difficulties the Government's preferred
card supplier has experianced in supplying enouigh cards nationally. This will not effect a current
pass holder's or new applicant's ability to travel but they will be issued a (or can continue to use
their) current MHDC pass together with a temporary pass. The Temporary pass MUST be used together with
the current MHDC pass on journeys starting outside of the county of Worcestershire, otherwise the journey
will have to be paid for.
