We recognise that information is one of this Council's most vital and strategic assets.  The introduction of the above Acts has made managing information both a business priority and a legal obligation that demand our attention.

At Malvern Hills District Council we believe that properly organising and maintaining records and information, in paper and electronic formats is key to our continued success. The ability to identify, organise, maintain, and access needed information and to properly dispose of the rest, pays off in terms of cost savings, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

You have the right to access

• information the Council holds about you (Data Protection Act 1998)
• information available to the public via our Publication Scheme
• environmental information (Environmental Information Regulations 2004)
• any other information held by the Council (Freedom of Information Act 2000)

The Council must supply a copy of the information requested unless an exemption applies under the relevant legislation.
