The aim of the coach database is to help us strengthen the infrastructure of sport across the district by supporting your development as a coach .

By working in partnership with the Sports Partnership, Malvern Hills District Council can ensure many benefits are on offer to all coaches and clubs within the Malvern Hills District, some of which include: -

• Reductions on the cost of coach and club education and development courses.
• Free advice on coach, club, competition & facility development.
• Issues, advice and news stories arising from Sport England and Governing Bodies
• Access through Sports Coach UK to mentoring programmes and Long Term Athlete Development.
• Advice on funding issues, insurance and best practice.
• Employment opportunities arising within the District and County,

Many clubs and coaches however do not access the benefits available to them and research has indicated that this is partly because people did not realise they were there; do you fall into this category? To provide you with information on these and many other benefits provided by The Sports Partnership or MHDC, it is vital that we know who you are by registering yourself on the DISTRICT COACH DATABASE.

To register yourself as a coach coaching at any level or individual interested in getting involved in coaching, please complete and return the District Coach Audit Form  (660.36 KB). This will be an ongoing process of data collection, however the sooner you sign up the sooner you will begin to receive and be able to access all the benefits on offer to you.

By registering your details MHDC will be able to:

• Send you quick fire information bulletins on all the benefits as mentioned above.
• Support clubs who are looking for new coaches and volunteers.
• Support coaches who maybe looking to work within a club.
• Work closely with schools to set us links with clubs who have suitable coaches.
• Promote employment opportunities at MHDC and wider afield.
