Notifying Applicants of the Decision

• We will issue decision notices within 2 working days of the decision and return a copy of the plans. If you have used an Agent, the documentation will be sent to them.
• Any approval may have been granted subject to conditions - please read these carefully. They may require further aspects to be submitted like details of materials or landscaping.
• If the application has been refused, we will give you clear reasons for this decision. The notice will be accompanied by an explanation of your rights of appeal if permission was refused or granted permission subject to conditions that are unacceptable to you. (·see Appeals against Decisions)
• The planning officer who dealt with the application will be available, by prior appointment, to explain the council's decision and what further action you can take. In some cases, a revised application can be submitted without the need for a further fee. Please contact us for details.·
