CPA - Corporate Self Assessment 2008

Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) is an independent inspection carried out by the Audit Commission, the government's 'watchdog' for the public sector. The assessment is of the whole council and its impact on the community of Malvern Hills district.

The last time we were inspected (in 2004), we were rated as a 'Fair' council. Since then, we have worked hard to improve the services we provide and to meet the needs of the district.

The self assessment sets out the achievements we have made and our priorities for the future.

We are aiming for Excellence and hope that the Audit Commission will recognise the improvements we have made when they come to conduct the inspection on the 19th of May 2008.
