Buying a compost bin:

Malvern Hills District Council has linked up with its partners to once again offer residents the chance to get discounted compost bins delivered direct to the front door.

There is a choice of green or black bin:

  • £13 for a 220 litre compost bin (£8 + £5 delivery)
  • £16 for a 330 litre compost bin (£11 + £5 delivery).
  • You can get a second bin half price and when you order more than one bin and still only only pay one £5 delivery charge.

A wider range of compost bins are also available plus wormeries, Bokashi systems and composting accessories to help you compost.

Composting provides a free source of nutrients to help the garden grow and also prevents waste going to landfill. Garden waste and some kitchen waste can be mixed in with egg boxes, scrunched up paper and vegetable peelings, to create excellent compost.

Bins can be ordered online by visiting getcomposting.com

or by calling 0844 571 4444.
