Management of the Economic Development Team     Responsible for staff covering Economic Development, Business Support, Tourism & TIC’s, Town Centres and Transport 
 
Business Engagement and Support      Liaison with local businesses and organisations including Malvern Small Business Forum, Listening to Business Visits, Town Partnerships, Chamber, FSB, etc.
 
Tourism Development and Management of Tourist Information Centres     Establishing policy and work activity to support visitor economy and effective delivery of visitor information 
 
Economic Development Strategy and Policy     Developing and implementation of Councils economic development strategy and related policies 
 
Land, Workspace and Broadband development and provision     Informing development of planning policy (SWDP) to support economic growth and input into workspace provision such as Malvern Hills Science Park, Tenbury Wells Business Park, Blackmore Business Park, etc. 
 
Worklessness    Promotion and delivery in partnership of support for unemployed across the District  with focus on the Pickersleigh area 
 
Town Centres     Support for Town Centre enhancement and support for traders 
 
Transport     Promotion of accessible and sustainable public transport and community transport provision.
