Sport and Recreation
Assist the delivery of Community Investment Fund Programmes (Everyone Active, Chance to Move, Activity Referral). Develop the Malvern Splash Disability Programme. Support the programmes funded through the Aiming High for Disabled Children Fund as well as additional key agencies delivering sport, recreation and leisure to disabled young people. Delivery of a Sport and Leisure Summit Autumn 2011 and act as the lead officer for London 2012 opporuntiites.
Community Development
Support the production of a Section 106 Community Toolkit and the production of a Volunteer Policy. Support Parish Councils across the district in their development of community / play/recreation areas .
Safeguarding
Support the Named Senior Officer for Safeguarding in MHDC. Reviewing safeguarding policies to reflect recent government changes and incorporating the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. Develop relevant briefing papers and check and challenge processes for internal and external use. Work with Partners especially facilities to improve their safeguarding practices.

Supporting the Older Peoples Priority delivery of Older Peoples Showcase Event October 2011. Coordination of a Biannual Health Happens Newsletter
