Indoor Sports Entertainment

A licensable activity, for which a premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 is needed. 

A premises licence is needed for any public contest, exhibition or display of boxing, wrestling, judo, karate or any similar sport.

There is severe punishment for people holding un-licensed events, or breaching licence conditions. Courts can make a fine of up to £20000, or imprison the person(s) responsible.
